Oscar winner and Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides newbie Penelope Cruz was snapped by fame photographer Mario Testino for the June cover of Vogue.� Having just earned her star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, Cruz is aware of how far she?s come since arriving in Los Angeles almost twenty years ago-Now married to handsome fellow Oscar winner Javier Bardem, Cruz gave birth to son Leonardo in January.

Cruz found out she was pregnant with Leonardo just before filming on Pirates started.� The cast and crew, including co-star Johnny Depp, took great pains to protect her.� ?I was pregnant and a pirate,? Cruz told Vogue.� ?A beautiful experience.?� When asked about motherhood, Cruz began to tear up:
?From the first second, you feel so much love.� It is a revolutionary experience. That?s the best way I can describe it. It transforms you completely, in a second. Nature is very wise and gives you nine months to prepare, but in that moment?when you see that face, you are transformed forever.?
Salma Hayek had nothing but good things to say about her good friend, telling Vogue, ?It is great to see somebody who you think deserves it get everything she has ever dreamed of.� It?s magical. It gives you hope.?
