'All My Children' facing possible cancellation

Is another soap about to go down the drain?
Deadline is reporting that ABC's longtime daytime drama All My Children is in jeopardy of being canceled due to sagging ratings.
No more Erica Kane? Susan Lucci would be out of a job? It seems unthinkable, but in recent weeks, All My Children has delivered record lows in Nielsen ratings, says Deadline.
Since its debut 41 years ago, the series has been a launching pad for many stars including Sarah Michelle Gellar, Melissa Leo, Amanda Seyfried and Kelly Ripa. TV Squad says an announcement about the show's fate is expected by tomorrow.
