I went to the University of Hawaii for a semester during my junior year of college. I had a room with an inexplicably king-sized bed and a panoramic view of the ocean. "I do believe you are a pedophile. I do believe you are a danger to society," U.S. District Judge David Mortensen told Brown, 55, during the sentencing in Provo, near the Utah home base of the popular piano-playing quintet in Alpine.
"I think it's obvious a home should be a refuge and a safe place, and that a parent should be a protector," the judge added, noting the abuses were not isolated incidents but "went on for years."
The Brown children ? Desirae, Deondra, Gregory, Melody and Ryan ? who are now in their 20s and 30s, are on tour in Florida and did not attend the hearing.
Keith Brown reached a plea deal last month, two years after the daughters approached authorities out of concern that their father, after being fired as the band's co-manager, was considering taking on new child acts.
Brown pleaded guilty to sodomy on a child under 14, and two charges of sex abuse of a child.
"This is what the victims wanted. ... I hope they're happy it finally came," said Deputy Utah County Attorney David Sturgill, according to the Salt Lake Tribune.
Brown did not speak in court, but he submitted what his attorney characterized as "a statement of apology addressed to his family and the community."

A former extra on ?Bones? claimed� he allegedly made some very aggressive and unwelcome advances towards her and filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against him.
According to the lawsuit filed last July, Kristina Hagan met Boreanaz in 2009 while working as an extra, and he offered to give her a ride home, during which he�told her he was attempting to find the right role for her, saying he was�?the boss? who ?could make things happen for her.? While none of the singers gave flat-out bad performances, James Durbin and Lauren Alaina had star-making moments, Alaina with a stirring rendition of Candle in the Wind and Durbin with a version of Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting that started in the audience and ended with a piano in flames. But Haley Reinhart stole the show at the end with a fun, sexy treatment of Bennie and the Jets.
Pia Toscano and Thia Megia fell back on ballads, as did several other singers. Casey Abrams justified last week's save with a tender rendition of Your Song. Jacob Lusk turned Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word into a pleading apology.
Scotty McCreery gave a shout-out to his grandma during Country Comfort, a song he initially picked because of its title. Paul McDonald gave a nuanced performance of Rocket Man, while Stefano Langone connected with his Tiny Dancer.
Thursday, two contestants will go home. Naima Adedapo's reggae treatment of I'm Still Standing came early in the show and needed more passion. One of them could be her.

The difference between Khloe Kardashian and oft-mangled Zooey Deschanel is Deschanel doesn?t need the help. Also unlike Deschanel, Kardashian has been deemed worthy of being digitally molested in something better than free photo editing software. Kardashian is on two newly-released magazine covers and she?s barely recognisable on either. She covers Cosmopolitan Middle East, above; a cover for which her neck?s been oddly-shortened, her clavicle turned into an expanse of skin, and half her torso whittled away. Because exclamation points are nature?s low fat caps lock, Kardashian blogged about the cover: ?OMG!!!!!! This is honestly a dream come true! I died when I saw it. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would be on the cover of Cosmo because I never knew it was an option. When they sent me the email to be on the cover I said to my publicist, ?I think you meant to send this Kim.? LOL. She was like ?No crazy girl! This is for you!? Not only is it such a blessing to be on the cover of Cosmo, but I am the FIRST cover girl for COSMOPOLITAN Middle East! What an honor!!!!! I?m honestly bursting with pride. I am truly blessed!? David Boreanaz Settles "Absurd" Penis-Flashing Lawsuit With Bones Actress
David Boreanaz has put some nasty business behind him.
The Bones star has settled a sexual-harassment lawsuit brought by an actress who claimed he forced himself on her while she worked as an extra on the show in 2009. At the time, Boreanaz's heavyweight lawyer Marty SInger labeled the accuser's claims "absurd."

Both sides are mum on the confidential settlement, with Gloria Allred, who represented plaintiff �Kristina Hagan, simply telling E! News: "The matter has been resolved."
There was no immediate comment from either Boreanaz or Fox, which was also named as a defendant.
The drama all started last July, when Hagan publicly�went after the married Boreanaz, accusing the 41-year-old actor�of hitting on her following her stint on the show, including sending unsolicited sexts and a cellphone picture of his penis.
That's not all.
According to the filing, Boreanaz offered to give her a ride home, during which he�told her he was attempting to find�right role for her, saying he was�"the boss" who "could make things happen for her." Then he allegedly took the�wanna-be actress to a park, where, according to the suit, he tried to force himself on her.
"[David] attempted to kiss her and touch her breasts but she pushed him away," the lawsuit stated. "[He then] unzipped his pants, pulled out his penis and began stroking it until he ejaculated."
Hagan claims that she managed to push Boreanaz away, but that didn't stop his advances. Later that same month,�per court papers, he tried to put the moves on her again�in his trailer.
The suit couldn't have come at a worse time for Boreanaz?it hit just�two months after he publicly admitted�that he had cheated on wife Jaime Bergman. He claimed to be coming forward�because he feared�the other woman, whom he didn't name, was trying to extort money from him.

David Boreanaz has put a sexual harassment lawsuit behind him -- the one where a "Bones" actress claims he came onto her while she worked on the show.
Kristina Hagan -- an extra -- claimed David sent her "sexually inappropriate text messages," saying he could "make things happen for her."� She made many other lurid claims as well.
When the lawsuit was filed, David's lawyer, legal pit bull Marty Singer, said the allegations were "absurd."

Danielle and her Wolves footballer fianc� Jamie O'Hara, 24, announced they were expecting their 2nd child a couple of weeks ago - and the model's pregnancy has been far from easy.�
'Danielle was admitted to the Liverpool Women's Hospital on Sunday suffering from severe stomach pains,' her spokesperson explained.
'She has been treated for dehydration and is awaiting the results of a scan to ascertain the health of her unborn child.'
Fortunately, Danielle's baby is OK and after a 3-day stay she'll be returning home to Jamie and their 8-month-old son Archie.

Kevin Federline - the ex-husband of Britney Spears - is reportedly set to become a father for the fifth time, with girlfriend Victoria Prince being five months pregnant with her first child.

The 33-year-old star - who has two sons Sean Preston, five, and Jayden James, four, with ex-wife Britney Spears - is reportedly expecting his fifth child with girlfriend Victoria Prince.
While this will be Victoria's first child, Kevin - who has been dating the 28-year-old former professional volleyball player for more than two years - is also dad to Kori, eight, and six-year-old Kaleb, his children with ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson.
The New Dad, as represented by Kevin and Birkhead, is involved. He trucks the kids to the supermarket, decorates their bedrooms, and even lets them dictate the direction of his career.
A source close to the couple told E! Online: "They are totally happy."
Kevin - who divorced Britney in 2007 after three years of marriage - still officially has the sole custody of the former couple's sons Sean and Jayden, although the youngsters currently split their time between both parents.
With Victoria reportedly being five months pregnant, she can be confident of her partner's parenting skills, as in 2008 he was named Father of the Year by Las Vegas nightclub Prive.
Meanwhile, in November 2007, Details magazine named Kevin as one of their Fathers of the Year, alongside the late Anna Nicole Smith's ex-partner, Larry Birkhead.
At the time, the magazine explained: "The New Dad, as represented by Kevin and Birkhead, is involved. He trucks the kids to the supermarket, decorates their bedrooms, and even lets them dictate the direction of his career."

'Glee' to Extend Timeslot for 'Born This Way' Episode
After taking a spring break, 'Glee' will return on April 19 with 'Night of Neglect,' but many Gleeks are already looking ahead to the following week's episode when the cast tackles Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way.' Fans will get an even bigger dose of New Directions and Gaga thanks to word that there will be more 'Glee' to go around that night.According to TV Line, sources confirm that the episode is so packed that FOX will likely extend it to 90 minutes rather than the standard 60. The report goes on to say that although much of the episode has already been shot, producers -- pending the go-ahead from FOX-- are planning to go back and incorporate two additional musical numbers to fill out the expanded timeslot.
'Glee's aptly titled 'Born This Way' episode will be a special one. Aside from being the 40th overall, it marks the return of Lady Gaga's music to the hit show. Gaga actually approved the use of the No. 1 hit before it premiered and, like the song, the episode will focus on body image issues and the characteristics that makes each cast member unique. Perez Hilton reports that Lauren (Ashley Fink) will run for prom queen, Rachel (Lea Michele) will consider getting a nose job, and they will revisit the Kurt (Chris Colfer) gay bullying storyline.
The only thing this episode of 'Glee' is missing is an appearance from momma monster herself, though this is quite enough excitement for fans in one day. Dare we speculate on a Lady Gaga guest appearance?
'Glee,' 'Born This Way' will air on Tuesday, April 26.

George Clooney was named as a witness in the high-profile prostitution trial of Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi on Tuesday, the Associated Press reports. But no one was as surprised by the news as Clooney himself."It seems odd since I've only met Berlusconi once and that was in an attempt to get aid into Darfur," he told the Associated Press in a statement.
Berlusconi is accused of paying a 17-year-old Moroccan girl called Ruby for sex and then trying to cover it up after the fact. He has denied the charges and his trial will begin on April 6.
Clooney, who owns a villa on Lake Como, Italy, was on the list of witnesses submitted to the court by Berlusconi's defense lawyers. The Academy Award-winning actor is reportedly on the list because Ruby claims she saw the star and his Italian girlfriend, Elisabetta Canalis, at one of Berlusconi's parties. Earlier this year, Canalis denied she and Clooney had ever attended a party thrown by Berlusconi.

Danielle Lloyd - who is currently expecting her second child with footballer fiance Jamie O'Hara - was rushed to hospital on Sunday (27.03.11) to be treated for ''serious dehydration and dizziness''.

The pregnant star - who is currently expecting her second child with footballer fiance Jamie O'Hara - has spent almost three days in Liverpool Women's Hospital after being struck down with "severe stomach pains" at the weekend.
In a statement to website MailOnline, her spokesperson said: "Danielle was admitted to the Liverpool Women's Hospital on Sunday suffering from severe stomach pains.
"She has been treated for dehydration and is awaiting the results of a scan to ascertain the health of her unborn child. All being well, she hopes to be discharged from hospital tomorrow."

The 27-year-old beauty - who is mum to eight-month-old Archie - admitted she felt "less stressed" once she had listened to the heartbeat of her unborn baby.

Danielle then went on to confirm doctors have now advised the baby is doing fine, and she is looking forward to being discharged and reunited with her family.

Rosie O'Donnell to move into Oprah Winfrey's Chicago studio

CHICAGO -- The Chicago studio where Oprah Winfrey tapes her soon-to-end talk show soon will be home to Rosie O'Donnell's latest daytime television effort, which is set to debut on the Oprah Winfrey Network this fall, Harpo Studios announced Tuesday.
The announcement ends speculation about what will become of Winfrey's Harpo Studios on Chicago's West Side when "The Oprah Winfrey Show" ends taping this spring. Winfrey opened the studios in 1990.
"I'm delighted to welcome Rosie to the studio I've called home for so many years," Winfrey said in a statement.
The network announced last summer that O'Donnell would return to television with a one-hour talk show to air on OWN. The network said at the time that the show would be based in New York.
"I can't wait to do my show from Chicago," O'Donnell said in a statement. "It's a dream come true ... beyond the beyond."
O'Donnell previously hosted "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" from 1996 to 2002, earning six daytime Emmy awards. O'Donnell also spent time on "The View."
Harpo Studios presidents Erik Logan and Sheri Salata called the announcement "an exciting new chapter" for the company.
The final original episode of Winfrey's show, which has been on the air for 25 years, is scheduled to air May 25.

No one wants to be first to leave Dancing With the Stars.
Monday was the last chance for the 11 contestants to prove themselves before the competition starts thinning out, one head at a time.
Last week was a revelatory one, with stars such as Ralph Macchio, Kirstie Alley and Hines Ward making dazzling first impressions, but it only means so much once the voters start picking up the phone and clicking away online.
So, was it just beginners' luck last week, or did these three keep up their end of the odds-making bargain after tackling substantially harder quicksteps and jives? And how about those who didn't fare so well last time? Any major improvements tonight?

Ralph Macchio looks like he's having a ball out there, but...He may have been so excited tonight, the jive got away from him and he only scored a 20, three points less than last week. He moves like someone who's just been given a new lease on life, but he wasn't always in sync with Karina Smirnoff and he was missing some of the razzle-dazzle from last week.
A similar fate befell Ralph's former partner in awesomeness, as well.
Kirstie Alley had some trouble sustaining the mad energy the quickstep requires?though she saved plenty of rocket fuel for the smooch with Maksim Chmerkovskiy that capped off the dance. The hardest ballroom dance of them all didn't produce a "moment" for Kirstie the way the cha-cha did, but that just makes us want to make sure she stays around longer for more saucy Latin numbers!
No such fate befell Hines Ward, however.
The two-time Super Bowl winner charmed the pants off all three judges in one fell swoop of a quickstep, giving Emmitt Smith a run for the "twinkle toes" title.
Meanwhile, we're going to suggest that Chris Jericho hang up his wrestling togs immediately and devote himself entirely to the art of the dance. His quickstep was adorable!
All of a sudden, the WWE champ was as light on his feet as...Ralph Macchio! And boy can this fellow wear pinstripes.

But our vote for king and queen of the prom goes to Romeo and Chelsie Hightower!
Though Ralph remains in the lead thanks to last week's running start, the swaggerific Romeo tied Chris and Hines for first place tonight with a 23, his quickstep earning a "best dance of the night" distinction from Len Goodman.
Maybe Mark Ballas is angling for a choreographer's spot on So You Think You Can Dance? Why not, Louis van Amstel contributes to both! But how else to explain the kinky-circus jive he choreographed for Disney Channel cutie Chelsea Kane (other than it gave him yet another opportunity to wear funky socks)?
Chelsea danced it well, but from the second we spotted the props we knew that Len was going to give them hell (and a 5). What we didn't anticipate was that Carrie Ann Inaba would give them hell, too.
"I love choreography like that, but there's a time and a place for it, and I don't think it's right now," she said, thumbing her nose at the routine with a 6.
Bruno Tonioli diverged from the pack, offering up a 7 and a comparison to "Marcel Marceau desperately seeking Lolita in A Clockwork Orange."
Being forced to "act like a lady" for the quickstep was a daunting proposition for Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett, but even with the Bride of Frankenstein hair, she pulled it off like she'd been doing it for years.
The quickstep obviously didn't come as easy to her as the cha-cha did, so she didn't have the same ease of movement, but she charmed regardless. Len thought she did an "excellent job."
Petra Nemcova and Dmitry Chaplin cut a very handsome rug, but their jive was like an optical illusion?the endless legs and bare midriff almost masked the lack of bounce and the model's various hesitations as they changed direction or segued into tricks.
Actually, Petra was much bouncier after the routine was over, bounding up to give double-cheek kisses to Tom Bergeron and all three judges.
Sugar Ray Leonard's James Brown impersonation was more fluid than his jive steps. But even when his kicks were a little floppy and his timing a little off, he's fun to watch.
"If I just watched your face alone, it's borderline a 10," praised Carrie Ann after Len informed his "sporting hero" that, after that jive, he could be in jeopardy.
That an exaggeration, we think, but the competition is pretty stiff this year, so we won't be able to say until after the first few results shows which way the wind is blowing.
"Psycho" Mike Catherwood couldn't pull himself entirely out of the weeds because of last week's 13, but, except for Chris and Romeo, his score improved the most on last week. And, aw shucks, Love Line cohost Dr. Drew Pinsky looked so proud applauding from the sidelines.
Wendy Williams also looked way more comfortable dancing the quickstep this week, although the routine notably slowed down (they were almost idling in neutral at one point) in the middle. Did Tony Dovolani do that on purpose to prevent Wendy from running out of gas like Kirstie?

Continuing to spend time out east, Kim Kardashian was spotted keeping busy in New York City on Monday afternoon (March 28).
The E! reality star looked stylish sexy in a black beanie, beige and tan blouse, black thigh high boots, denim jeans and a black leather jacket as she made her way around the Big Apple locale.
Meanwhile, Kim has just announced that fans can spend the day with her for the right price - with all of the money going to Japan relief.

The Black Swan Battle Heats Up Even More!
In an unprecedented Oscar scandal, the battle between Natalie Portman, Fox Searchlight and dancer Sarah Lane has evolved into a courtroom-like showdown in a they-said, she-said scenario.�
Fox Searchlight has issued a statement claiming, "Natalie herself did most of the dancing featured in the final film."
But again, Lane countered, saying she did "basically all of the dancing."
Coincidentally, the video we posted on Friday showing the facial replacement has been removed across the internet due to Fox copyright, and a new video has been issued, sans face replacement.�
So who's right? Is Lane a fame-hungry dancer trying to steal Natalie's spotlight, or did the smell of an Oscar make the studio psychotic?

For her part, Lane is speaking out again, and this time to the Wall Street Journal, about how little dancing Natalie did.�
She insists that she and Natalie shared shots and asserts that many of the moves would be impossible without a trained dancer.�
As for the reports that Sarah is greedy or jealous of Nat for attention, Ms. Lane says this is entirely untrue: "I don't want people to think that I'm here to trash Natalie and get fame for myself."
So what is her motivation for speaking out? Well, Sarah insists it's the same as it's always been:
"I do want people to know that you cannot absolutely become a professional ballet dancer in a year and a half no matter how hard you work. I've been doing this for 22 years [?] Ballet dancers don't get the credit they deserve generally."
But if Sarah's intentions are as pure as she insists, the question still remains: How much dancing did Natalie do, and more importantly, does she still deserve the Oscar?
Director Aronofsky would like to take that one, as he tells E! News:
"Here is the reality. I had my editor count shots. There are 139 dance shots in the film. 111 are Natalie Portman untouched. 28 are her dance double Sarah Lane. If you do the math that's 80 percent Natalie Portman. What about duration? The shots that feature the double are wide shots and rarely play for longer than one second. There are two complicated longer dance sequences that we used face replacement. Even so, if we were judging by time over 90% would be Natalie Portman. And to be clear Natalie did dance on pointe�in pointe shoes. If you look at the final shot of the opening prologue, which lasts 85 seconds, and was danced completely by Natalie, she exits the scene on pointe.�That is completely her without any digital magic. I am responding to this to put this to rest and to defend my actor. Natalie sweated long and hard to deliver a great physical and emotional performance. And I don't want anyone to think that's not her they are watching. It is."
That said, it's not hard to appreciate Sarah's take on the issue, after all, she reveals that producer Ari Handel called her directly and asked her not to do more interviews. Lane wasn't surprised:
"I had read a lot of articles that Natalie had done where she said she did 90 percent of the dancing. And never mentioned my name once. Nobody ever mentioned my name hardly ever. I'm not stupid, I got the idea that they really want to make it look like she had accomplished something incredible."
We have calls out to Lane to comment on the extreme discrepancy Aronofsky has created regarding how much dancing was done by her, as opposed to Portman.

Nicki Minaj Gives Lil' Wayne a Lap Dance on Stage
The average person probably wouldn't give their boss a lap dance, but Nicki Minaj is far from average.Minaj hit up the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, N.Y. on Sunday (March 27) with Lil Wayne, as part of his I Am Music II tour. While performing cuts off 'Pink Friday,' Minaj gave the New Orleans native and her Young Money boss a little treat.
"You got three rules, legs open, hands behind your back, mouth shut. Let's go!" Minaj told a clearly ecstatic Wayne, as he sat waiting for his dance. After the fact, the rapper was apparently so excited that he fell out of his chair. Minaj then went back to performing her feature on Sean Kingston's 'Letting Go (Dutty Love).' The 26-year-old New York native, who has had a whirlwind of a year since coming out as the star female of the Young Money crew, was happy to give her hometown a show to remember, and thankful for what she got in return.
"Dear New York, you gave me life tonite," Minaj tweeted. "You were amazzzingggg. U are EVERYTHING. U have no idea. Best homecoming ever!"
Next up, the Young Money crew will head out to University Park, Penn., on Wednesday (March 30). The I Am Music II tour wraps up April 29 at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Court to take up huge sex bias claim vs. Wal-Mart
WASHINGTON - Christine Kwapnoski hasn't done too badly in nearly 25 years in the Wal-Mart family, making more than $60,000 a year in a job she enjoys most days.
But Kwapnoski says she faced obstacles at Wal-Mart-owned Sam's Club stores in both Missouri and California: Men making more than women and getting promoted faster.
She never heard a supervisor tell a man, as she says one told her, to "doll up" or "blow the cobwebs off" her make-up.
Once she got over the fear that she might be fired, she joined what has turned into the largest job discrimination lawsuit ever.
The 46-year-old single mother of two is one of the named plaintiffs in a suit that will be argued at the Supreme Court on Tuesday. At stake is whether the suit can go forward as a class action that could involve 500,000 to 1.6 million women, according to varying estimates, and potentially could cost the world's largest retailer billions of dollars.
But the case's potential importance goes well beyond the Wal-Mart dispute, as evidenced by more than two dozen briefs filed by business interests on Wal-Mart's side, and civil rights, consumer and union groups on the other.
The question is crucial to the viability of discrimination claims, which become powerful
vehicles to force change when they are presented together, instead of individually. Class actions increase pressure on businesses to settle suits because of the cost of defending them and the potential for very large judgments.Columbia University law professor John Coffee said that the high court could bring a virtual end to employment discrimination class actions filed under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, depending on how it decides the Wal-Mart case.
"Litigation brought by individuals under Title VII is just too costly," Coffee said. "It's either class action or nothing."
Illustrating the value of class actions, Brad Seligman, the California-based lawyer who conceived of and filed the suit 10 years ago, said the average salary for a woman at Wal-Mart was $13,000, about $1,100 less than the average for a man, when the case began. "That's hugely significant if you're making $13,000 a year, but not enough to hire a lawyer and bring a case."
The company has fought the suit every step of the way, Seligman said, because it is the "biggest litigation threat Wal-Mart has ever faced."
A trial judge and the federal appeals court in San Francisco, over a fierce dissent, said the suit could go forward.
But Wal-Mart wants the high court to stop the suit in its tracks. The company argues it includes too many women with too many different positions in its 3,400 stores across the country. Wal-Mart says its policies prohibit discrimination and that most management decisions are made at the store and regional levels, not at its Bentonville, Ark., headquarters.
Theodore J. Boutrous, Wal-Mart's California-based lawyer, said there is no evidence that women are poorly treated at Wal-Mart. "The evidence is the contrary of that," Boutrous said.
The company is not conceding that any woman has faced discrimination, but says that if any allegations are proven, they are isolated. "People will make errors," said Gisel Ruiz, Wal-Mart's executive vice president for people, as the company calls its human resources unit. "People are people."
Ruiz paints a very different picture of the opportunities offered women at Wal-Mart. She joined the company straight from college in 1992. "In less than four years, I went from an assistant manager trainee to running my own store," she said. "I'm one of thousands of women who have had a positive experience at Wal-Mart."
Kwapnoski, who works at the Sam's Club in Concord, is one of two women who continue to work at Wal-Mart while playing a prominent role in the suit. The other is Betty Dukes, a greeter at the Wal-Mart in Pittsburg
"It's very hard for anyone to understand how difficult that is and what courage that is," Seligman said of Kwapnoski and Dukes. "They're Public Enemy No. 1 at Wal-Mart and they are known for their involvement in this lawsuit. Nevertheless, they get and up and go to work every day."
Kwapnoski didn't want to discuss any issues she faces at work as a result of the suit.
She said she has seen some changes at Wal-Mart since the suit was filed in 2001. The company now posts all its openings electronically. "It does give people a better idea of what's out there, but they still can be very easily passed over." she said. "But before you didn't even know the position was open."
The suit, citing what are now dated figures from 2001, contends that women are grossly underrepresented among managers, holding just 14 percent of store manager positions compared with more than 80 percent of lower-ranking supervisory jobs that are paid by the hour. Wal-Mart responds that women in its retail stores made up two-thirds of all employees and two-thirds of all managers in 2001.
Kwapnoski said she and a lot of women were promoted into management just after the suit was filed, although she has had only a couple of pay increases in the nine years since. She is the assistant manager in her store's groceries and produce sections.
Now, she said, promotions are back to the way they were before, favoring men over women.
She said she's hoping the long-running court fight will force Wal-Mart to recognize that, stories like Ruiz's aside, women are not valued as much as men are and that her bosses will begin to "make sure that good men and good women are being promoted, not just men."

Carey announced in October that she is pregnant; she'll be having twins, one boy and one girl.

Sean Penn Settles Paparazzi Lawsuit
After negotiations between the two parties took place earlier today (March 28), Sean Penn has reportedly settled a civil suit filed by the photographer he kicked nearly two years ago.
The actor approached and kicked paparazzo Jordan Dawes in Brentwood, California in October 2009, with the incident caught on video.
Last May, Penn pleaded no contest to vandalism in connection with the Dawes incident, receiving 36 months of probation and 300 hours of community services.
In related news, Sean made his first public appearance as a couple with girlfriend Scarlett Johansson over the weekend as the pair attended actress Reese Witherspoon 's wedding to Hollywood agent Jim Toth.

Solange?s six-year-old son Julez has designed his very own T-shirt to aid Japan in it?s tsunami relief. She posted on Twitter pictures and messages of her son?s work.
She wrote, ?JULEZ FOR JAPAN! My baby boy designed a t-shirt to benefit the devastating earthquake/tsunami in Japan. All proceeds going to Peace Winds.?
She also tweeted pictures of Julez painting his original design (?Here is Julez working very hard on his design:) Im very proud of him??) and posing in the finished product (?My sons father just sent me a picture of Julez, in his Julez for Japan shirt. They?ve been selling them at school.?)
