Alex Pettyfer Calls Hollywood 'Socially Disgusting'

Alex Pettyfer isn't making any excuses for his rebellious image in Hollywood. If anything, he's embracing it.

"I've heard I've been called a bad boy, or difficult," the actor, 21, says in a profanity-laced interview with VMAN magazine. "Maybe that's because I don't take any bulls---."

The Beastly star, who used to date Glee's Dianna Agron, calls Los Angeles a "s--- hole," and uses a misogynistic expletive to describe the females who inhabit the city.

"I wish I had some interesting stories about living in L.A., but mostly I just do my work and then go home," Pettyfer says. "I think my Wikipedia is full of bulls--- because I actually don't have anything cool or interesting to be said about me."

But wait, there's more. "I think [L.A.] is this insidious pool where nearly everyone lives in fear," he says. "Geographically it's fantastic ... but socially it's disgusting."

Brushing elbows with some of Hollywood's elite doesn't impress the Brit either.

"Being an actor is like being in prison," he says. "You go, you serve your time, you try and replicate Johnny Depp's career and then you move to Paris."
