Poor Paris Hilton.
The hotel heiress goes to court to testify against an alleged home intruder only to see herself and boyfriend Cy Waits attacked by someone else as they made their way into the building.
"Omg @KathyHilton! That other psycho intruder just punched Cy in the back of the head as we were walking into the court house. So scary!," she tweeted, sad emoticon and all.

E! News witnessed the man as he broke through a pack of press and paparazzi and threw water at Waits' face outside the Superior Court building in Van Nuys as the couple made their way toward the court Wednesday afternoon.
The man then grabbed Waits' neck before the attacker was dragged to the ground by Hilton's security team who subdued him in a headlock.
"After the attack, they realized he is the same intruder that showed up to her home on a bicycle a few months ago. He has now been taken into custody. They are both a bit shaken up but thankful security acted quickly," the socialite's rep tells E! News. "The attacker assaulted Cy from behind.
The man, who ID'd himself as James Rainford, later told E! News that all he wanted was an autograph from Hilton and to ask her father, Rick Hilton, for permission to propose to her.
After the hearing, Paris' private security guard, Mason Burroughs, said Paris is now doing "great" after he safely escorted her out of the building.
Rainford was detained by citizen's arrest and booked for a misdemeanor offense by Van Nuys police. He is being held in lieu of $20,000 bail.
According to public records, Rainford is currently on probation for misdemeanor assault and there is a restraining order in place against him requiring that he stay at least 200 yards away from Hilton.
Outside the courtroom, L.A. Sheriff's deputies were heard discussing the fact that they offered Hilton security for today's court hearing, but she turned them down.
"We cant control people who don't want to be controlled," the deputies were overheard saying.
Ironically, Waits is the same beau who heroically came to Paris' rescue at Casa Hilton last August by disarming 31-year-old Nathan Lee Parada. The would-be stalker is on trial for allegedly breaking into her house brandishing two big knives?he was arrested after Cy held him at gunpoint until cops arrived.
"Cy woke me up because I am a very deep sleeper," Hilton testified today.
"I saw a man standing in the window downstairs...I called Cy because I didn't know if it was a neighbor or a gardener."
Turns out, it was neither.
Waits testified that they heard a loud bang, waited about 30 seconds, then heard another noise. "I asked her to grab my weapon," he said, after which they headed downstairs.
"I was polite in the beginning," Waits said, but then Parada turned toward him and "smirked, and that is when I saw he had two large knives, a large steak knife and a large buck knife."
"I drew the gun on him and I screamed at him to drop the knives," Waits continued. When Parada asked if he was holding a gun, Waits recalled, he told him, "'F--k yeah.'"
"It was a very small gun," Waits explained.
Paris was "frantic," running around the house looking for her phone to call the cops, who took about 15 minutes to arrive, Waits said.
Parada is facing a maximum of three years in prison for felony attempted first-degree burglary.
