Elton John and David Furnish tell Barbara Walters they have breast milk FedExed to their home.Special delivery!
Elton John and partner David Furnish welcomed their son Zachary on Christmas Day and in an interview with ABC's Barbara Walters, the couple have revealed the deliveries are still coming - via FedEx.
"[Zachary's biological mother] has been providing him with breast milk," John told the "20/20" host. "We have the breast milk FedExed from where she is."
John, 64, and Furnish, 48, have been raising the 4-month-old baby boy in California, where their surrogate also lives. But while the couple may go out of their way for a full bottle, they don't have any plans to spoil the little one as he gets older.
"The worst thing you can do to a child, and I've seen it happen so many times, is the silver spoon," John said. Being the child of a famous person is very difficult and we're very well aware of the pitfalls of that."
"Our life might be very luxurious but it's all come from hard work," Furnish added. "Both Elton and I have sort of earned everything we've done in our careers and furthered our educations through our own drive and our own ambitions and we want Zachary to be exactly the same sort of way."

But a little bit of coddling might be fine for now - especially for John, who's already penned a song just for the infant.
"I love my little boy, he's my little pride and joy, He's the most gorgeous little bubba in the world," he sang softly to baby Zachary before kissing his forehead. "Yes you are, you are a gorgeous thing."
Recently, John revealed to BBC Radio 2 how the couple chose the name Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John.
"Zachary is one of my favourite names, and David's. And one of our churches in Venice, where we have a home, [is] called San Zaccaria," he said.
As for the other names, "Jackson is a name I've always liked and David's dad is called Jack and it's an old English name that means son of Jack."
"And it was just going to be Zachary Jackson and then he was born on Christmas Day, and [my] song Levon says 'he was born a pauper to a pawn on a Christmas Day,' I chucked that in for a bit of rock star influence."
And the rumors are true, the couple have named Lady Gaga as godmother. "When you get to the real person underneath, there's a very simple New York girl who loves her parents," John told Walters during their interview. "I love her to death, and a lot of people said, 'Oh, that's crazy,' but they don't know her and we do."
Pop star godmother aside, John insists that at the end of the day they're just like any other family.
"We change him, we bathe him, we feed him and we read him a story every night," he said.
