Simon Cowell is planning a 'big surprise' for tonight's Britain's Got Talent semi-final.

'Everyone's talking about the big surprise tonight,' says Britain's Got More Talent host Stephen Mulhern, 34.

'At the end of last night's show he [Simon] said to Ant and Dec that there's a big surprise that I'm going to reveal...

'No one knows what it is and we will all find out tonight.'

So could the surprise could be a guest appearance from axed US X Factor judge Cheryl Cole?

'Oh no, please don't go there!' Stephen told Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on ITV's This Morning.�

'It's not, I'll put you out of your misery there!'
